About Me

I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Portland, Oregon. I received my Masters in Psychology in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University in 2006 and my doctorate from California Professional School of Psychology in 2012. I completed my pre-doctoral internship at Cambridge Health Alliance, Harvard Medical School, and my post-doctoral residency at Reed College. I have engaged in a wide range of clinical experiences, including working in community mental health centers, on inpatient psychiatric units, in college counseling centers, in a center devoted to addiction counseling, on an oncology unit, and in a clinic for the treatment of chronic pain. My background also includes research and academic work, including multiple published articles on subjects ranging from psychological assessment to dreams to emotions in therapy. I have served on the Editorial Board for the journal Psychotherapy since 2016. I keep current on new ideas in my field by participating in continuing education programs regularly as well as an active weekly consultation group with colleagues. These professional activities allow me to stay abreast current research in the field of psychology in order to serve my ultimate passion, which is therapy and its unique way of helping people create more meaningful and fulfilling lives.
